Since 1978, providing affordable and accessible services that help improve the quality of life for community members of all ages…through a broad range of educational, recreational, self-enrichment, and family support services.

YEAR IN REVIEW
During its 28th year of operation, the Edgemoor Community Center (ECC) continues to grow and meet the challenges of our changing community. Our commitment to programs for children and families remains constant.

ECC preschool childcare reaches over 80 children each year. The program serves infants from six weeks through kindergarten age children.
Over 65 children participate in school-age childcare throughout the year. Many of the same children participated in the summer day-camp program.
Over 4400 people use the facilities of ECC for public meetings, social activities, religious programs, educational activities, and special events.
Our tenant programs - including Sellers Senior Center, Edgemoor Day Habilitation Program, Brandywine Valley Friends of the Children (BVFOTC), and KinFolk, served over 1350 individuals.
ECC continues to provide educational and prevention programs which serve community needs including the Delaware Prevention Network, tutoring, and computer skills.
