About Our Programs

Youth programs are the primary component of the ECC service delivery. ECC has offered child care since 1982. A current, State of Delaware license is maintained for both the pre-school child care and school-age child care. ECC enrolls up to 80 children in early childcare, 85 children in our school-age child care program, and approximately 90 children in summer camp.

A unique feature of ECC is its easily identifiable and accessible location in the community. ECC shares a building with the Mount Pleasant Elementary School. School-age childcare participants can easily walk to and from the school. For parents, this convenience eliminates the stress of having to coordinate transportation arrangements and reduces related safety concerns.
